- Be or have been a Lac La Biche County resident;
- Have represented sport with distinction in athletics competition, either in Alberta or outside the province, or whose example has brought credit to the sport and high respect for the individual;
- Have compiled an outstanding record, which extends over at least 10 years in one or more sports.
To apply for the athlete category, the nominee does not need to be retired. | - Be a Lac La Biche County resident during the period of which outstanding service is claimed;
- Have meritoriously served athletics/sport for a period of at least ten years (not necessarily consecutive or in one sport); and
- Have a career, which combines, wholly or in part, the qualities mentioned above, in such a way to make his or her contribution to sport of an outstanding nature.
Nominees can be active or inactive in sport/athletics. They will be evaluated on the impact they have made to sport in the community.
| - Be based in Lac La Biche County when the win was acclaimed and documented;
- Be composed of area residents at the time of winning;
- Win either either National, International, or World Championships; and
- Be composed of more than 2 members.
The final decision regarding induction eligibility must be ratified by the Lac La Biche County Council on the advice of the Lac La Biche Administration. | - If you know someone who stands out and inspires others to reach for their dreams in sport and recreation, nominate them to a life-sized photo mural with an inspirational quote displayed in the Bold Center.
