Community Access Bus System
The Community Access Bus Service is a low-cost transportation service to take individuals and families to and from health appointments, shopping, educational opportunities, and recreation events.
The bus is available Monday-Friday from 9 am to 5:30 pm, and Saturday 10:30am - 4:30pm, upon availability. Call 780-404-3480 to arrange pick up.
Community Access Paratransit Service is available to seniors, and people with disabilities travelling within the County. Paratransit provides affordable door-to-door transportation, helping people run errands, access medical care and attend social events.
For information on rural service, please call (780) 623-6763. For pick-up please call 780-404-3480 one hour before you need the ride.
FARE (PER RIDE):
$2 per ride, or $5 per family (up to four dependents per adult) In Town.
$4 per ride, or $10 per family (up to four dependants per adult) Rural.
*Please have the correct fare. The driver cannot provide change.
There are also punch passes available for purchase at the Bold Centre:
$20 individual punch pass: 12 rides
$50 family punch pass: 12 family rides
Please note:
The Paratransit Bus must be pre-booked, please call 780-623-6763.
The Community Access Bus does not run when temperatures are below minus -35 degrees Celsius, or if Northern Lights Public Schools buses are not running.
Children 5 and under ride free with an adult.
The Community Access does not run on stat holidays.
